Download for full-size image (warning: very large image)Since I still have my hands full trying to finish all my commissions, I thought I would post a sketchdump. I've seen quite a few other artists do this, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
So I went through my folders (real and on my computer) going through all the sketches I was never going to use (though I am going to finish the Darth Revan pic here) and I found I had a lot of old Revan pics (most I drew late last year) but the Youngling and Darth Revan pics I did draw earlier this year. The youngling Revan was actually my first sketch when I was doing my Revan and Malak youngling pics, [link] but then I decided to give them the training helmets and ended up not using this one, so it's great that I can use it now.
As I was gathering these pics together I realized I had a kinda timeline of Revan's life. I didn't have a lightside Revan, so I used this Dark Side image
I hadn't drawn Malak so I had to do a little spray-painting

Maybe because Bastila has it and they do not get well along (just idea). Still, beheading Alek with his own saber is just sweet irony.
Sorry for critizising, but she looks more like 17-19 with the green saber. Still awesome picture, but well all of yours are so thats not saying much.

Amazing how many different colors the lightsabers can be. I know that the blue beams are formed by the Jedi crystals and the red beams are from the Sith crystals. But what about all those other colors? What crystals cause them?

If you look, the in the movies, there are also green and purple light sabers weilded by the jedi. It has been decided canonically that the jedi don't use red simply because the sith do, and that any color is theoretically possible, except black, depending that you use a crystal that bends the light in the appropriate way.

no, canonically you can you any color of lightsaber you want. Leia Organa solo used a Red Lightsaber for over 10 years and wasn't affectedby it.

Thank you. I purchased the "Star Was: Jedi vs. Sith" book last year and I read the part about the lightsaber crystals. The book states that the Jedi crystals are natural while the Sith red ones are synthetic and can creat a slightly more powerful blade. Not that it seems to make much difference; both weapons have an awesome power, regardless of whose they are.

Really now? I think they should have just left it open. Like in one of the older Star Wars "history" books about the clone wars, they said that (this was before the films) that they didn't have enough information on the envents at the time. So, they could just say that time from that period is "unreliable" and may not be entirely accurate.
