Description
Here is a very basic, yet minimalist design for a proposed box-set of all 7 (so far) Star Wars Original Motion Picture Soundtracks by John Williams. The design of each has been based on the new 'The Force Awakens' style logo for a consistent set. I have nothing against the beautiful artwork presented on the original releases, but sometimes a little continuity makes for a better presentation. Each spine has a unique colour to match it's respected trilogy e.g Gold for the prequels like their DVD release, Silver for the Originals like their first widescreen DVD release and to top it off a nice 'space blue' of my own choosing for the new Sequel Trilogy (Currently with only 'The Force Awakens'). If you notice, I have chosen not to add the 'A New Hope' subtitle to the '4th Episode' to keep an old tradition of having no 'Episode' subtitles in the original trilogy until the dreaded Special Edition re-releases. This works well with Disney's apparent lack of the 'Episode 7' subtitle in 'The Force Awakens' logo (the reason for which can be found online). Such has it made it easier to create a consistent style across the set, by removing the 'Episode' subtitles and retaining the original titles of the Original Trilogy films. All CD's are housed in a hardcover box with the same design, with the exception of an additional 'Collector's Edition' title. Each Cover will be available individually if you contact me for your own use. They truly look fantastic in iTunes! Any constructive criticism is welcome and do feel free to request them for download for free (Please do not share them at any cost - this is purely a non-profit fan creation due to the branding).
