Agreed, these painterly sketches are phenomenal! Upon scrutiny, one can easily see the areas which do tell it's a sketch not a polished illustration, but the digital brushwork is all woven together so well, that haste does not make waste at all here, to use that proverb. Many painters would be proud to show sketch studies such as these, as their fully fledged artwork. Damn fine and accurate craftsmanship, and inspiring, too! It's making me itch to break out acrylics again and have a go.
