Thanks. This is some great insight. You are right about the spelling mistake. I don't know how I missed it.  
I am glad to see that you are enjoying the characters.
Lots of TG stories are just about a transformation, I wanted to make them something more.  Glad to see it's working.
Since you put so much thought in it, here is a big question:  Would you read a story about these characters without the TG element?

I must admit that I probably would not of found this comic if not for the TG element.

When on this site I usually write to a few people, reply to a few messages, come up with story/transformation ideas (that I don't make artwork for or post on comments sections of other's artworks that inspired the ideas/tales and not in my own gallery) and of course look up a few keywords that I enjoy seeing such as fanart of 'Gwen Stacy' / 'SpiderGwen' and a couple of transformation works such as 'TG'.

I first found 'TG' artwork/comic here on DA with a comic called The Dual by cluedog The Duel  and since found myself usually enjoy comic and process transformation TG works.
 
Of various transformations I enjoy seeing process comic works of I found TG artists works often have more personality, chanraters, expressive, and showcasing the process (which the journey is what I value seeing in any transformation work vs just 'poof instant').  Plus usually the final forms are lovely to see designed.  Bonus if the transformed likes the process but if not still the end results is a positive outcome for the transformed.

I was first hooked by the TG element and comic but this comic going beyond so far has been enjoyable.  It's still early and learning about these characters and where the direction might go to give a solid answer but right now provided they are good hearted that I can connect to and root for then possibly yes.
