So Totodile is my favorite starting pokemon of all time. Feralifgatr isn't exactly the highest tier competitive choice but I still think he's cool. the entire second gen of starter pokemon was passed for any Mega evolutions, and sword/shield didn't even have most former starters in the game. new forms are how older pokemon are able to keep up in the ever growing competition, so I wanted to give my favorite gator a well deserved boost. While studying existing gigantamax designs, I couldn't help but draw comparisons between Charizard and the newest Japanese iteration of godzilla "Shin-Godzilla." Since I'm American and my northern city of pittsburgh had a recent but strange gator problem last year (we don't naturally have gators in this area) I figured it would be appropriate to model Feraligatr's gigantamax after the new American "Bear Godzilla." I'm still pretty proud of this design and I hope you like it.
Bonus: that weird pittsburgh pennsylvania gator problem that happened last year was in my own neighborhood, so that was rather silly.
