The Maxx, he was a comicbook character but has a 90's TV adaptation highly recommendable

You have to admire how Sam Kieth took the 90s aesthetic and made an interesting story out of it. For Maxx, it's just a coping mechanism to help him deal with his crap life.

Whereas my 10-year-old self just accepted the story at face value. "Well yeah, of course Maxx is a fusion between a homeless man and Julie's outback," I thought.
