Painted a mermaid inΒ a painterly style. I am trying out new brushes and using brighter colors. Sorry I don't have a tutorial for this one. Anyway I thought I would share this since I shared the sketches earlier. Enjoy!Related content

I especially like that light effect in the water. The green colours gave to the piece a mystic atmosphere and also they work very well with the reddish tones of the skin.
