The story is a mature and very tragic tale centered on Sally, and I found it incredibly moving. The author's writing was superb enough that I at times had crystal clear mental images of what was going on...I had to ask her to lemme do this. I couldn't help myself, I loved it that much >.<
Originally, I thought this was gonna take me forever...but I dedicated almost an entire day working on it, straight through the day, and got it finished waaaay quicker than I expected. Was that keen on making it a reality.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Like the girl's sonic-blue ponytail, you can really tell that she's Sonic and Sally's daughter...and that the colour of their son's fur makes him look like Super Sonic!

Well, everything concerning the two kids was done per the author's specification, so I can only take credit for putting the written pieces together into an image you can see. The concept of the hair and fur color was all her though
I'm glad you enjoy it, always especially happy when somebody favs or comments on this image. Means I did the story some justice.

Umm... dude... That last pic with Sonic, Sally and the kids... The poses. Sonic's head. Marvelous. Damn, man! I just can't beleve how good you are getting!
I don't think I could make such an atmosphere like that, just damn, the grass, how you drew the running poses, just wow
And ones again, I love Sonic's from-below angle ^^
The top pic s also very good, I just like the second one more
Sally is more on model in the first, and you are really getting the hang of her anatomy
How did you colour this? I'm guessing you didn't use the magic wand. I kinda forgot how I coloured my Bunnie pic

I was dying to get it done mostly for Min, but I also really wanted to hear your reaction as your input always helps point out what I need to improve on and what I really got right.
Arg, I was trying pretty hard to make that bottom scene as picturesque as possible, as close to the definition of perfect as I could...so I could have the vast contrast with the above darkness and tragedy.
I'm overall totally satisfied with the moment captured by it, but the grass just pisses me off...it's too uninterupted, too bland to me. Needs more shadows cast on it, some sense of it having a direction it's flowing in. The characters came out great with the shading but the grass just hurts my eyes
And thanks for the sonic props. I still think I made a wee mistake with the eyes, but the over-the-shoulder and under-the-chin shot gave it a neato look, thanks for commenting about that. 
And I vowed last time that I wouldn't make her a pretzel the next time I drew Sally, and I did my very best to make good on that vow! Thank you for saying she's getting more on-model.
As far as the coloring method, I'm decided that I'm making a tutorial for all to see...I must once and for all prove that it's perfectly easy for everybody to do (providing you got photoshop or something similar) and the only virtues I have with it are the patience it requires to execute and the ingenuity of figuring it out on my own. Otherwise it takes very little artistic skill, tripped me out how simple the process is really. You all can have great looking colored art, no more magic wand.
I shall teach you!!!
So stay tuned for that...y'know, while I acertain how to best make forementioned tutorial...

I am not really a Sonic fan, but I may get into it. I have never really heard much about, and it all seems interesting.

I sorta got that feeling from 'ya.
Sadly, it's not the easiest thing to 'get into' if you haven't been indoctrined by at as a kid seeing as it's a children's show...but us hard-core fans recognize it as much more
One day though...after much college, sweat, blood, and tears...I vow to make a game that will bring the universe of Sonic true justice in a manner that everybody can appreciate and love the hell out of.
