Description
Was thinking the other day, been awhile since I showed some love to *kiss-the-thunder 's characters, especially as they've both undergone some design changes. So I started doodling them for fun, not really having a concrete idea, and this started to form. As I developed the poses and details I actually came up with a short little story (little too tired to type up nowParticularly proud of the lighting of Ross's cigarette and the anatomy of the two characters (yes, guilty pleasure taken in Ross's posterior
Hope you like this little surprise Rache
Check out the original sketch to see the details lost and added when I colored this in photoshop.

This is 1 of my favourite pieces of these 2 beautiful girls.
And yes, I'm afraid IΒ do likeΒ bums, especially Cel's bum <_< , oh and Ross' has got a fantastic one too
You did an excellent job on this. Good posture,Β and the folds in Celeste's dress + sash, the softness + the tones on both of them, especially their hair. I like how the light reflects off Rosalyne's lighter + the cobbles.

Very nice moody lighting in this piece. I can definitely see the symbolism with having Rossayln in the shadows and Celeste in the light, a good metaphor for their personalities ^_^
Another plus is how adorable Celeste looks in your style. ^^
awesome work

I know right? They be ying and yang with their dark and light contrasts!
This actually was a play off two pictures *kiss-the-thunder previously made, one of Rossi just hanging in a bar looking tough but with a wanted poster of Celeste in the background and the other of her actually attacking her with those throwing knives. So I decided her nonchalantly stalking Celeste as she stumbles awe-stricken into town, contemplating whether or not she wants to take the hit on such a naive and unaware mark, seemed a fun subject to do when I was brainstorming how to get these two into one sketch.
I'm glad you find Celeste particularly adorable! I was afraid I kinda skimped on paying attention to her, I felt like my focus was a little more on getting Rosalyn right and I was getting sloppy when I got to Celeste But all ended well apparently, whew!
Thanks for enjoying and for the thoughtful comment!

Oh gosh hun, I'm so sorry I missed this in my inbox!! I feel guilty beyond all reason... But thank you for sending me a link so I can see it.
It makes me giggle that you had fun drawing Ross's bum XD And Her anatomy is fantastic! I think the best part is the obvious interaction between them though! The atmosphere of this encounter is truly telling! I really want ot know more of your thoughts behind the piece itself.
I could go on hun but I'm admittedly just....mentally not quite here. love you lots Jay

Nonono guilty beyond any reason! I told you, it's perfectly understandable that it got lost, you've been offline for a bit and you be a mildly popular person with a lotta friends! ^^ I just knew you would like to see it and had a hunch you missed it so I thought I'd point it out to 'ya, but definitely no harm done ma'am Hey, you never have to be guilty cuz' of me
I'm your buddy who tries to relieve that for you!
Aaaaaand yeah, giggle away at that I mean, I'd drawn her twice before and never drew that star tattoo of hers, wanted to make an excuse for doing so this time. Plus, I've been working on my anatomy. So in my mind I was like, "Well... if I'm drawing her bum... I'm might as well really draw her a bum!
" so it was fun just seeing how well I could pull that off
But oooh, thankies! Glad you like it! I'm gonna have to type my little short-story for this for 'ya then. Fun, fun, I never do literature that often.
And no worries about not being here mentally, it happens gal! Especially if you're hooked on your game, heck, why do you think I go missing for long periods of time?
Lav to my NY sister!

THis is a nice piece of work that certainly shows as you do good development in working with characters, atmosphere and colour. What you've done overall is good and certainly shows that you have progressed well in working with character body language and creating too an atmosphere through the use of lighting with one being in full light while the other is only lit by the reflection of that light and the singe of the cigerate in her mouth. It most surely brings about that idea of good and bad here along with the element of a story or at least story telling into your work. This brings in a great deal of charm with your work and brings in more about a understanding of the characters you've created or presented that belong to other certainly prove your talents well and that you are beginning to understand much more in the personality of those characters and the setting to describe them in.

Excellent words good sir! And well recieved, I appreciate the comments concerning atmosphere, not something I consciously thought about but retrospectively I can feel a little more fulfilled when you point that out.
Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed another of my works.

Super lovely? Aww, super thank you!
Actually started off just being really rough, but experimented with some colors and glad you can find it appealing.
