Description
Well, here it finally is, after literally months of work, I'm finally finished with this piece. For larger versions of the male and female slayer, go here and here respectively. For the Dragon, go here .
Okay, now I'm going to pretend that I'd meant for them all to have looked like they'd come through some portal in the sky, in truth it was meant to be the sun peeking through the clouds, but I went a little overboard and once I'd desaturated it all at the end, it looked nothing like that, so they all come from another world.
The City. Yes, first time I'd ever done anything like this and I think it went quite well. I'm not sure if the perspectives line up perfectly, but I did a lot of work to make sure they did so here's hoping. And yes, every single one of those buildings was hand painted by me (although many are duplicated). It was meant to look somewhat futuristic, not quite Blade Runner, not quite Back to the Future 2, somewhere in the middle. I doubt cars can fly.
Overall, this took many many hours of work and was a huge undertaking, so I hope you enjoy.

I never said I wanted constructive criticism!
Nah kidding, always appreciated.
1. The wings... yeah I get what you mean. If you saw the other dragon pic (the work in progress) you'll see he had other wings before and all I did was get rid of them and slap these on. I figure they'd work, but evidently not, I'll try to blend them in better.
2. There actually is a smog in the lower parts of the city, but I guess it's difficult to see, I may need to play around with the layer options on them.(your link 404'd on me). And I don't really want a dragon rampage in the city, it'd fit, but it wasn't really my intention.
Okay, i see what happened. Here it is, there are two different versions of this image, the one I did and then this one which is the final image with a bit less saturation and a bit more contrast (subtle, but it makes the difference). It seems that because the image is now slightly darker, you can't see the smog in the city.
And I don't really want it to look like the dragon has just come out of the portal thing... I figured the portal would be further away... then again, your way makes a little more sense actually (again, portal not intended).
3. Yeah, two things happened here. First of all, I applied the lighting to the dragon which cast a nice red glow on the lady which I thought was fitting as she would be illuminated by the fire, but it darkened her a little. And then, at the very end, I added a tiny bit of contrast and saturated the entire image a bit, giving her even less exposure. I was kind of banking on the glow of her sword pointing her out, but I'll look at lightening her up.... but yeah, you're right, it is way dark for her there.
4. Oh you mean the one that looks like a crossword puzzel... yeah, I was worried about that before but for the life of me don't know why I never fixed it.

Link works fine for me. [link] Try that. The only problem is that the sky is a dark grey in it, but otherwise, it's not bad reference.

Yeah, that link works. And yeah, I get what you mean, I've lightened the image up a little to fix a few issues with the smog and ebing able to see the girl properly.

Heh, why don't you tell him, I'm sure he won't appreciate a stranger going to his page just to advertise his work.
