Everything inside the giant brush-stroke was painted by me for this image (nothing re-used from previous paintings... well, maybe one of the planets). It took me the better part ofa month to do.

I wouldn't normally spend that long on a painting, but as it was complex and I had a goal in mind (finishing it before the deadline), it helped. It also helped that I technically wasn't spending a month on a single painting, but many paintings which became one painting. Meant I had many subjects to focus on so I was never bored with it.

thats really cool,i usually go one draw at a time,lol i have so many in my head that when i don't draw them,they wont let me draw anything else.and yes having a deadline help to keep doing a draw for the single purpose of the deadline.is cool when one combine many paintings into one,cause you had to think on how to show it.
