Description
Syntagma, the scientist medic charmer philanthropist jerk of Misery's squadron. He's a Decepticon with zero social skills. Tries for conversational and just comes off as abrasive.This was one of those images that wouldn't go away until he was drawn. His face is based on a WWII gas mask, so any resemblance to General Grievous of Star Wars (as one of my friends pointed out) is purely coincidental.

I always love it when people go for bigger/thicker mechs. You found a nice balance in the amount of detail you used. I like it.
I'm not totally sure what the background is but I'm actually okay with that since I know we're supposed to be focusing on Syntagma.

I wanted to break away from the OC norm and shift more towards my growing idea that Decepticons were built as war machines while Autobots were built for freight/trade and/or science/nurture. Depending on whether a Decepticon wanted to hide among the Maximals dictated if they went and downgraded to a Maximal body or a Predacon body. Syntagma's in the latter group.
As for the background, I went through a bunch of screen caps of Cybertron until I found one that I liked. After that, I mentally rotated the image and situated Syntagma into the scene. The rest, as they say, is history
