Description
Keijo is a tropical region lying directly south of Motomo, beyond the desert mountains. The land here is blessed with rich jungles and picturesque coral reefs. These, along with the weather here make the Keijo Region a vacation hotspot.Abundant with Grass and Water types, The Pokemon here are well adapted for the tropical environment, though migrating Pokemon from the neighbouring Motomo Region are not uncommon.
The Keijo Region is one of the leaders in the fruit and veg industry; with ideal growing conditions, lush produce is shipped and flown to all corners of the world.
This is the new and improved Keijo Region Pokedex. Much more vibrant and clear. Those interested in the individual Pokemon can find them in my Gallery:

Obviously my Legendaries aren't all normal type, but I haven't finalised them yet and didn't want to give too much away.
The name Keijo comes from Bankei (Vast Expanse). Keijou also means shape/form in Japanese.
These Pokemon have been designed by me. Please do not steal or use them without my permission.
The Pokemon Franchise Belongs to Nintendo.

Noone is gonna comment on how the region has the same name, as an anime sport, where girls ise their ass and boobs to fight. Okay.

Holy potato-stick, that is amazing! I tried to make an entire region of Pokemon, but...I gave up on the 20th Fakemon... But that is amazing my good sire/madam, and have a great day!

Wow! Amazing job These new PokΓ©mon look terrific! It's cool to see a fan-based design of a new generation. I don't feel that much for all of the new Pokemon generations, some are fun but must of them don't feel like real Pokemon any more.
You did an amazing job! Β

*Round of applause* These are amazing, can't wait to see the rest of your Pokemon unfold, I wish this region existed. Have you considered submitting to Nintendo with your ideas?

Wow. Nintendo would be able to get their fans to stop complaining about bad designs so quickly if they would just scout out work like this and offer payments to artists for good designs rather than continuing to slap eyes on everything. I absolutely love the one that looks like a little monkey in a potato sack onesie. I'd definitely buy a plushie of that Β

I would tell you that these are amazing, but I feel like that's and understatement... I love your creativity in taking inanimate objects and turning them into Pokemon, especially with the row boat, quill, and magic carpet ones! You do better at that than Nintendo does, sometimes. *cough cough* Klefki *cough cough* I do find it hard to understand what some of them are, though, like the yellow face ones and the coconut-looking ones, for example.

Upon looking at the dex entries for them, I now know what they are. My above comment was just looking at the full Pokedex without looking at anything else.

Simply amazing! Someday, I want to draw PokΓ©mon as well as you do. The way you have incorporated a brand new region, given it flavor with the climate, and shaped your creatures around the environment makes your collection all that more vibrant. Do you have a storyline to go along with it?

I'm really loving a lot of these, especially many of the grass types. Β Great job! Β It's amazing that you can emulate the style of official Pokemon art to make yours look legit. Β how long did it take you to learn to draw like that?

JoshKH92 In reply to luvkirby4ever [2015-03-20 22:29:50 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! It took quite a while actually, but you eventually get into your own pattern and way of working. Back when I started I just used coloured pencil, hoping to emulate the official art one day
