This is the item also photographed in the gallery, Monster Blood . In Monster Blood I used the reverse lense method to capture an extremely macro shot of a couple of the arms protruding from the ball. The magnification is so strong that the focal falloff is very similar to that of a microscope, which gave the image a very "blood cell" feel.
