Description

Epithet Erased/ Anime campaign oc

Richard Spartz ( 16 Stamina, 6 Mov)

Epithet - Puppet ( 11 )

Class - Streetshow Puppeteer

Weapon - Arrow. He doesn’t have a bow but.. A single arrow will do! (fat chance he could pull back the string on the bow anyway) Does 3 damage alone, but if used with a bow can deal 7 damage.

TALENTS (Pick one of three)

Recognise ( 0 ) - Being familiar with the internet and TV, can easily recognise a poster and/or event going on by being well informed.

Handy! ( -2 ) - Even in the most unlikely of situations,he probably has an item suited for a dilemma, despite how far fetched it is to have such a specific item on hand. (eg. hair clips, pocket knife, leatherman, drinks etc.)

Can Knot (no no, KNOT, not not) ( +2 ) - Due to using strings for his figure (puppets, he just calls them that to not sound lame), has obtained the skill of being able to untie knots, even the most tricky and impossible ones.

Passive: Friendly Face - A calming (?) figure around children and general friendly face, since he’s done a lot of puppet shows for kids. Whenever he’s being confronted or ganged up on, children who recognise him (which is quite a few) will see all of this going down. You can roll a d20 to see if the children will defend him, (by either getting upset or mad at the enemy which can confuse or guilt them, causing a brief moment of hesitation for Richard to act upon) the higher the roll, the more effective, the lower the roll the least effective

  • Project (1!) - User can make their voice project through any inanimate figure, at the cost of them not being able to audibly speak through their own body while in action. The user's mouth still moves as they speak through the figure. The user must see the object they are projecting through for it to work, but after that can move as far away from it as possible with it still working. (Pick three of five)

  • Vision (1) - User can see through the eyes of any inanimate figure, as long as they can see it first. The further they get away from the figure, the more blurry and hard to focus it gets. While seeing through the figure, the user's eyes will turn completely white to show they cannot see through their real body while this ability is in action.

  • Detachment (3) - User can detach their own limbs, without them bleeding. They detach as if they were simply magnetted to each other, but only at the user's command. The limb detached cannot be moved or controlled unless reattached to the body.

  • There are no strings on me (3) - User can attach strings to a person or inanimate figure that only the user can see, and use those strings to move the characters limbs, though with the amount of effort it would take to move them by hand, resilience included. The user must be able to see what they're controlling.

  • Curtain Call (3!) - If there is a ceiling or surface above the user, they can summon strings to attach to themself or another person to the above ceiling and pull them up.

Richard is a boy, just a man tryin’ his best. He only recently had become 18 and had been struggling a lot with adulting, he’s horrible at being responsible or taking action plus he is an anxious sweaty mess. He doesn’t have much skills (besides the knowledge of figurines and card rarities and collections) so he’s currently stuck counting stock at a nearby fastfood place, plus now having to pay a bit of rent due to still living with his parents. Rick prefers to stay out of trouble, nearly always choosing flight over fight and using his epithet as more of a defence/distraction than for fighting.

His interest consists of cartoons (anime, yeah he’s that guy), collecting various nerdy things and only ever leaving the house to play in card tournaments (and if he needs to work). He’s actually taken an interest in child entertainment, he does enjoy entertaining kiddos he’s babysitting for extra cash with his funky epithet, putting on mini puppet shows for the kids he's baby sitting or just doing shows on the street. He hasn’t really noticed yet but Richard would be pretty alright as an actor, too bad he only projects through puppets.
