I never thought of it that way.
I know I said that Ash loves blonde girls, but I think there is a limit. (Plus, don't tell Chelsea I said this, but she originally had brown hair.)
Serena could stand up for herself now, that is, if I wasn't about to put her through this small character arc in a later story.
