Description
I had a lot of fun painting this picture. It was not an ACTUAL reference from a game in terms of composition but different elements from mario have been thrown in. We have opened up a new store where my own (and others) artwork is now available for purchase if you're interested! This & more will be coming every week so stay tuned!!

oh jeez... erm... Well I just look up loads of tutorials and things. At first it was more learning the tools... about how to blend properly and render smoothly and getting the control. But when you learn that its about the actual drawing and filling your visual memory up. I still study to this day with anatomy books and things just to learn how to render more realistically. Its just time and practice really. Check out Dan Luvisi (Adonihs), Dave Rapoza, Algenpfleger, Sam Spratt Illustration. They motivate me

lol its true though. How you will always see yourself as your OWN level so you cant fully appreciate your work to be something its not. You should look at that guys online sketchbook. Its just tonnes of drawing and practicing so you can see loads progress. goes to show its just practice
