The only artist smart enought, knowledged in human anatomy and brave enough to create this can be no other then Leonardo da Vince. But there are SO many details, for instance, the pollen (only to discover with a strong microscope) are from the area where the crucifixion took place, The wounds from the whipping on the back. The fact that the nails went throught the wrist, AND NOT to the palms are all according to the practice of the barbaric torture of crucifixion. A simple forger couldn't include so many details that only our sciencetific age can discover. There are many relics fabricated during the middle ages just for collecting money from pelgrims. Was the Real Shroud destroyed in the fire (I remember there where about three fires before 1400)? ...and Leonardo was ordered by the church to RE-create an exact replica...

IN the other case, what kind of energy made the negative impression on the shroud, His inner light? During his resurrection? Was Jesus in coma for a few days? Didn't he die on the cross? If it is proven it would become a FACT and not longer a BELIEF.... and the Catholic curch would loose its power, and become obselete? Are there people within the highest ranks who rather would like the Shroud be destroyed or named fake because of that...? And others want to keep it because it gives money, and influence ...?

    I don't have the answers....
