Fleshshapers are the best scientist and medical practitioners within the Immortal Empire, though few in numbers a single Fleshshaper and their followers can reshape a entire noble house’s military and general population. Making large portions of the population perfect in their field of work, unlike cybernetic that only benefit the users. The Fleshshaper and their gene mods can help generations as minors traits and abilities are passed down the family lineage, allowing next generation to handle greater enhancements with little risk of suffering genetic degradation and unstable mutation. It is thank to them the empire can handle fighting enemies who out number them. When each warrior can take on a squad of enemies alone with little risk to themselves, then a squad can take a city with little in the way to challenge them.

Many houses and worlds seek to earn the service of a Fleshshaper or to have some of their own rise up to join their ranks, but while the lords and ladies seek to gain some, the common populous fear them. Stories of Fleshshapers stripping a world of all life to fuel their scientific discoveries, building monsters to unleash upon their foes or a minor population to test the effectiveness on the monsters. Fleshshapers are both feared and respected across the empire and feared by most outside civilizations as when a shaper feel they were wrong, then they will stop at nothing to get their vengeance and some new samples.
