Description
Drowzee are very much like their names. They sleep up to 12 hours a day usually in heavily forested areas.
Drowzee live in the hot dry forests of kanto, a small area surrounded by hills.
Drowzee, for a long time were thought to be normal types until they were found to have the potential for great psychic abilities, but strangely, they choose not to use them.
Itβs only when you train a Drowzee that its true power can be unlocked, but only a few psychic trainers use them as they are on the endangered Pokemon list.
They are a very loveable Pokemon once you train them and enjoy a back scratch. They eat mainly ants and fruits and use their peculiar nose to help with this.
It is thought that they are bipedal because of the hot sun, to avoid their backs being scorched by the hot sun.
This is a theory that holds truth in our own evolution, not only stopping us getting burnt but freeing up the forearms to use tools.
Drowzee have yet shown any use for their forearms accept in battle when they use their 'hands' for moves such as Metronome.
Hope you guys like it

Oh, I'm sure they use those front feet to dig up grubs
Is he supposed to be an anteater?

He does NOT look amused. But good drawing of that lifeless ungulate-type eye.
Yeah, it is odd for a tapir to walk on two feet. Dunno why you made drowzee more of an anteater than a tapir (wait, do tapirs eat ants?). But it's pretty neat.
Any idea what's up with the bi-coloured coloration?

you think he looks like an anteater? the colouration is due to heat in its body, long ago it used to be all dark brown, as it evolved and lived in very hot climates its top half began to get lighter and lighter, allowing more heat to escape. the reason its not white is it belends in nicley in tall grass, hiding it from predators

I was noticing how you said he ate ants. I don't remember if tapirs eat ants, but I don't remember them doing so.
Guess they need more acids to get the brain working.

Yer, that slipped my mind , but practically 'eating' dreams seems strange, but the power to erase memories or thoughts could be possible, ill think about it when writing up the detailed stuff

Woot, he looks like a party animal... You sure did capture the true look of a drowzee.
Drowzees can sniff out people's dreams and see what they are dreaming about.
I love fun facts!

y do u say ants, wen there is no animals such as ants or dogs for that matter, they are not animals they are pokemon, so for you to use ant, it would have to be followed with pokemon, such as ant pokemon.

JoshuaDunlop In reply to jyejyebinks [2008-04-18 13:05:07 +0000 UTC]
well im doing this as if it were in a real situation, so they would still be classed as a type of animal, and also in this real world they have animals alongside pokemon. Pokemon means Pocket monsters, so pokemon is a name they give to the animals they use for battling or have special abilities
