I like this, is it an original concept? (What is it based on?)

Try presenting art like this on either on a grey backround or something more appropriate to the mood (ie. darker cracked lava floor and dark skies).

Reasoning behind it is if you shoe it on white it overpowers the focus and if you do it on a black background then it's generally harder to see the detailing also.
