Description Horsea live in relatively shallow waters where it becomes warmer.
They cling onto reeds and coral with their swirled tails.

Despite their size they can pressurize a large amount of water that can fire up too ten metres out of the water. Underwater they use it to escape danger quickly by propelling themselves away at great speeds.

Although they are bony fish, they do not have scales, but rather a thin skin stretched over a series of bony plates arranged in rings throughout their body.
They swim very poorly by using a dorsal fin, which they rapidly flutter and pectoral pronds, located behind their eyes, which they use to steer. Horsea's have no caudal fin. Since they are poor swimmers, they are most likely to be found resting, with their prehensile tails wound around a stationary object. They have long snouts, which they use to suck up food, and eyes that can move independently of each other, much like a chameleon. Horsea's eat small shrimp, tiny fish and plankton.

I've always been curious how Horsea swim - then again, I've always been confused how actual seahorses swim.

Seadra is the only non-Poison Pokemon that can have Poison Point as an ability (contact = 1/3 chance of poisoning). I think it's because of the spiky fins on its back.
