An amazing climate with astonishing storytelling. Great job on the details and composition - one has to look for a while to trully understand what's going on. Illustration is quite simple itself, but also detailed at the same time when you take a closer look. Definately one of the better pieces on dA

This picture is amazing! I especially love the fact that the towering Carnotaurus is here almost nothing more than a menacing shadow. Dinosaurs, certainly worse than zombies.

Have you read β€œFootprints of Thunder”?
www.goodreads.com/book/show/63…
Read it and see if you can get permission to use its outline as a background premise for the game.

I haven't read it but I do know the premise I have my own story in mind but I do want to pick up a copy for sure

The creepy thing is that the disconnect between the ages of stars and the estimated age of the universe as a whole could be explained by such a phenomenon. Stars would be constantly swapping their own mass back and forth through time, making their true age and lifespans impossible to gage correctly.

This looks like an amazing concept. How large is the Carno in the picture? It would still be dangerous at its actual length of aroundΒ 8 to 9Β m (26 to 30Β ft)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to Ceratopsia [2016-08-07 08:09:43 +0000 UTC]

Think it would be slightly larger than its actual size for dramatic effect but still small compared to some of the big therapods

Almost reminds me of The Lost World (Crichton novel) where Carnotaurus appeared, whereas it was never seen in any films.

How did Dinosaurs come back in your story?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to godofwarlover [2015-06-26 15:00:03 +0000 UTC]

Through reverse evolution. Scientists fully map birds and other animals genomes and identify ancestral markers, therefore being able to build a dinosaur and any other prehistoric creature they want.

They cause the apocalypse or was it something like Nuclear War?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to godofwarlover [2015-06-27 07:04:50 +0000 UTC]

They started to bring back prehistoric viruses and bacteria for medical research. One however was a virus that effects mammals, it got loose and killed off 70% of the worlds mammal population, including humans. the world went into disrepair and the animals unaffected by the virus broke loose and reclaimed the earth.

Okay, and Dinosaur cloning was apart of this? Your Dino Apocalypse drawings remind me both of Primal Rage and Xenozoic Tales

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshuaDunlop In reply to godofwarlover [2015-06-27 08:31:51 +0000 UTC]

Love Xenozoic tales, I used to also read Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. Once they realised they could clone dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures they realised they could do the same with bacteria, fungus and viruses etc in search of new medicine and bio weapons.
