I wanted to try and steer away from Rex actually, there are so many bitter and scarier carnivores out there that would be great to play with

That is amazing!! And the title even makes this a little more threatening for some reason. This dangerous situation itself together with the sound of rain, which may or may not make it harder to hear the enemy approaching.
Giant dinosaurs already scared me as a kid, as did the Jurassic Park movie, but I still enjoy artworks about these creatures. This is one of the best things I've ever seen!
You managed to make a really deep atmosphere here. I feel like I'm really in it! Especially when I zoom in the whole solution of the image, and scroll up and down- left and right- to see every detail. Makes it even more scary to come across the predator there in the background. xD Really nice side-effect!

This is awesome, great atmospheric perspective and drama going on! It really seems like in this scene the only soundtrack would be the sound of rain, and maybe the footsteps of the Carnotaurus!

That's awesome. Reminds me a little of The Road, where a father takes his son across a dead landscape.Β Mind you, The Road didn't have dinosaurs. Everything's better with dinosaurs.
Anyway, great piece of work. It provides a sense of desperation and looming violence that sends a chill up my spine.
