Wow!!! Another winner here, Jens! Fantastic use of erosion/flow masks for the surface distribution! That's something I haven't tried yet. That is one heck of a gorgeous terrain too. Love the atmo and postwork too.

Un-freakin belivable surface map man. I'm loving the pov, but that surface... *drools*

Thanks! Yes, I used a surface distibrution map for the river/erosion channels (made in wm, too), but no photo overlays.

May I ask what landscape methods you used to create the terrain?

I used World Machine. Mainly I used the devices 'curves', 'terrace' and two different 'erosion' to obtain the look. You can download the file from my homepage. (link above)

beautiful terrain, lots of variety in it the surfacing seems a bit plain, but good for this piece. I really love the clouds in the atmosphere, great job on that aswell. Another gorgeous render from you
the birds add that nice final touch

Incredible perfect.... I installed Terragen to see how it looks and I liked it... it's funny making effects on it.... but here, in that picture, the texture is simply amazing.... it's appear soo much as a photo! Keep it up!!!

Truly amazing man. I cannot beleive this came from terragen. The texturing in terrain is so awesome. You cannot get much better then that sir. The cliffs are purely amazing. That is what sets the peice off in my opinion. You did a great job on the strata work as well. Very nice strata. Great atmo as well. The clouds really fit the scene. The look very nice. I also love the randomness of the birds. You did a great job of placing them. Maybe just a little bit smaller though, not to small though . Overall this is an amazing peice of work, but I didnt expect anything less from you
Keep it up and keep on doing your thing. I will be amazed to what is to come when TG2 comes out, and you get your hands on it
