Thanks! I admit that I added a slight pink hue to her eyes just to spice it up. Thing is, the monitor I'm currently looking at and the one I make my digital drawings with display the eyes as predominantly red. On my phone though, it looks more pink. Apparently, the type of screen can make a difference I guess.

I agree that she has the best chance at defecting. I don't think she'll join up with Ruby & Co. though, at least not immediately. I imagine she'd just go rogue for the time being and end up clashing with Mercury, at which point she may try to do her influencing. We'll just have to see what happens...

Yes, I am interested! I'd like to see her redemption happen, whether it is official or via fanfiction. xD

I can see that as well. Especially if some fan theories are right and she's based off of Aladdin; she might just decide to go back to what's familiar to her. Granted, I don't really see her joining Team RNJR (or either a different version of RWBY or JNPR, especially if those teams get reformed (in one way or another)). But I can see her being an ally to them, sort of like how Team CFVY is an ally. As for Mercury, I can also see her trying to influence them, especially if they go the show goes the route of them being, ultimately, friends (or maybe more). We'll have to wait and see.

Awesome! Well, my series has just started, but I do plan to make this a series where Redemption and Forgiveness are very strong themes, meaning that even very evil characters like Cinder or even Salem can potentially join the heroes (whether or not they do I won't reveal yet ). Currently, the series is in its infancy and I've barely had time to work on it, so there's only a few stories out right now. But, here are at least some of them:  RWBY: Fall of a Maiden    “Fall Maiden…” The deep, mystical voice said as Cinder groaned, feeling the blood poor out of her entire being. Every part of her body screamed silently with pain, though she tried to keep a calm face for her enemies: she wouldn’t let them have the pleasure of seeing her weak, even for just a second. Still, it was difficult-the coppery taste of blood filled her mouth, while she felt the same blood fill the bottoms of her eyes and drizzle down her flawless face. Her battle dress was torn to shreds, showing off the various deep cuts and wounds the inflicted her body. Once, she had to admit, she was beautiful: now, she was a broken version of her old self, completely helpless before the trio that stood before her.
     
    They were a strange group: unlike any creature, human or Faunus she had ever seen. They were all tall, much taller than she had ever been. One of them, a woman, looked to be ar  RWBY: Hunting HuntressesThe Emerald Forest looked peaceful as Jaune looked out into the vast realm. The green sea of leaves shone brilliantly, creating a unique mixture of gold and green that seemed to dance all around Jaune, inviting him to let go of his worries and simply enjoy himself. Sadly, the young huntsman-in-training could not do so: something terrible had happened, and he feared he would never recover from the action.
Why? Jaune thought to himself: while he knew there was nothing he could do, he still felt responsible. Why did she have to go? She was my best friend. Finding a tree to lean on, Jaune calmly sighed, fighting back tears as he tried to control his sorrow and worry. After standing there for about a minute, barely noticing the hard, sharp wood of the oak, he took a deep breath, got off the tree, and looked into the forest. There’s no way to go but forward now. Besides, she wouldn’t want me to give up. Trying to compose himself, he was about to take a step forward, Hope you enjoy them!

Just to warn; this is a series that is going to get into some dark areas, so Emerald (amongst others) might suffer. A lot. To give a bit of a taste, here's a "trailer" I came up for the series in case you want to test the waters a bit:  Aseik-Ilu Chronicles: Breaking Chains Trailer[The scene opens to what appears to be a dark, barren mountain, with rubble of buildings that have an Ancient Greek design. Scattered across are the bodies of various human figures, though they appear different—some have markings, or clothing that no human would wear. One of them, a young man in golden armor, attempts to crawl away from the carnage. He has brown-blonde hair that reaches to his shoulders, slightly tanned skin, golden eyes, and a thin beard. A wound on his forehead bleeds out a strange blood that looks both red and golden. He almost is able to get away from the carnage, only for a pair of human hands to grab him and pull him back.]
 
Narrator: [Androgynous Voice] Their origins are a mystery, their natures an enigma. One born from dust, one from blood, one from the stars.
 
[The man looks up in terror as the hands hold his head. With one quick snap, the hands tear off the man’s head from his body. Quickly, they slam the head down upon a nearby pole,

I like that theory about Emerald. I can totally see her playing that role as an ally.

Whoa, that trailer is pretty dark and grim, and the Pure Ones are so mysterious. I love it. I'll be diving into those stories and enjoying my heart being smashed to bits lol.
