Description
I was planing to draw beach but had no idea how to draw realistic water and sand. Still, I tried my best to make it like beach. After comparing mine to some of my favourite artist's, now then I realise mine is nothing. However, I sincerely hope you all enjoy it, please tell me how I can improve it!Related content

Hey, this is a funny picture. You say you tried to make it realistic and honestly, you succeeded, partially. Of course, water is not normally blue, it is a colourless translucent substance. When you look straight down into the water, you can see what is bellow it but under a certain perspective, the perspective you've drawn, water reflects light and the image above it. Since you've drawn sea, which reflects the sky above, BLUE sky above, it is understandably going to be blue. You've also drawn the bright sun reflections.
Now, the reason why sea is dark blue is because its bottom is very deep, so it reflects the blue sky, but the depths bellow also absorb light so the result is this much darker shade. The problem: this is what sea looks like far off in the horizon, close to the beach, it is much more brighter and translucent, because its is not very deep near its shores, naturally. In order to make this more realistic, you actually have to make the tone brighter, a bit less saturated.

On the other hand, I personally find this beautiful as it is. The water might not be entirely realistic, but it creates a really nice contrast with the sky, which is more important to me personally. Sure, I like to follow some rules of realism but I always prefer cartoonish colourful images. So if you want to draw more realistically, well, now you know what to do.
