Great use of light! On a technical level, the shadow cast by the hood really brings out the eyes. On a emotional level, just look at the eyes! You just have to look at them to see the feeling of despair, even if the girl keeps it hidden. They look more sad than angry but retaliation against abuse does not always make for an angry outburst. More often than not, retaliation is just about asking for help. That is hard enough on its own.

Well, manga and digital art are not really my thing. I prefer western style cartoons more and traditional pencil drawings so I pay more attention to people who draw that. I only comment on pictures when I have something to say about them and ... well ... sometimes I am not really interested in anything manga or anime related. It's not my thing.

I still like your art, though. It might not be my favourite style but I love how you draw effects, lighting and colours, just like in this picture. That is why I watch you. I might not be a fan of the style but you draw it so well, I often find something to like, something which catches my attention or some interesting theme.
Anyway, I am sure you have many more fans who are more interested in manga than me.
