I went to this good exhibition of a private collection of samouraΓ―s armors in MontrΓ©al with my friend . Was good to draw them, but so painful for the legs to stand up so long..[link]

You have great balance in your work between detail and negative space. How do you do it?

Well on this one, this is quite simple, the museum was closing before I was able to finish the sketch. Hopefully I guess, because I like it as it is 
More seriously, you have to think about the object you're drawing itself, the object itself has plain and detailed parts. Try to make a hierarchy of it to get a balance, don't know if I'm really clear. Let me know

I can see what you mean, there is a kind of order to what stands out more and what doesn't. That's my understanding anyway, thanks allot, I'll work on it with that though process.Β
