Thanks, interesting point of view! Only one question remaining, is it a psychedelic mushroom?

Your computer must hate you after rendering this.

No, it doesn't. Still running, no crash, no system faults.

MB3D can render Β 6600 * 4950 pixels (max. I ever got) in the main window - do you want more?

Yep - size matters
Double the size is four times the price (in terms of calculation time - might be even more).
The Large Render creates an image sequence for multiple image parts - even more time consuming. Additionally the "after render" effects like Hard Shadows or DOF aren't supported as it seems they can't be calculated any longer as the third image might need image information from the first image.

Sorry, I can't, never used that window. I always make big renders art once, this one was rendered originally 3840 pixels wide, it lasted I guess 2 hours (raystep multiplier 0,01, to avoid noise). Why do you want to use big render?

thought it was only way ot render besides in window thought it would be better faster render

An interesting theme, I just made a test. Up to 10 000 pixels wide it worked, then MB said it is to big. As Schmiegel wrote, it is not faster. One pixel needs the same time - in a small or a bigpic.

Nice one Jost! The vibrant red is brilliant, and I love the perspective here!
