If You Like How mac has its buttons on the left then make your old boring windows have that too!There is one file in the download when you double click that another file will appear! Thats all you have to do!
But this isnt for applications! it only effects the folders!
i would put the shortcut in the startup menu of your startmenu!

It should be open in the menu bar? Down in the bottom right hand corner, right click and disable

this is rly good but why only for explorer?
isnt there a solution out there that affects the windows as one.. for instance when i install blackbox4win and tweak it a little, the blackbox skin affects all windows, and maybe if some1 makes a plugin that will move the buttons on the left side, it will affect everything
but still thats a start.. maybe in time we will see it affecting everything
btw, can some1 tell me how can i move the start button from the left to the right?
