TUMBLR GIF SET VERSION: [link]I absolutely love the Homestuck anime! As in, I love that the fandom freaking created an anime in a matter of days. I think it's really, really cool and shows how creative the fandom is! Plus, I like to sit here and imagine how each episode could be drawn by a different artist, with their own head canons for appearances and such. I think something like that would super-well reflect Homestuck, fandom included!
Anyway, I really wanted to join in and make my own piece of the anime! <3
This took about two days for 50 frames (orz).
I drew it on SAI and then transferred and animated it on Photoshop.
This is my first time doing animation like this!

Thank you! Though, sadly to say, there isn't a HOmestuck anime. It's just a big fandom joke, I guess. Just lots of fans making fake screencaps and gifs, such as these! :3c

Hey, jotaku, I need a little help with one of my latest deviations. It's also a GIF but it's a gift for a friend. It's just that my gif is static on dA and won't be animated, I was wondering what I was doing wrong and if you could offer some tips?

Whoo. This inspires me to try animation more. Also, the colors and quality of this piece is really good -- especially since it's an animation. I've heard that animation is easier when the image is simple, but this is pretty impressive!

I honestly do admire the devotion the fandom has, but cmon people. We don't even know how homestuck will turn out... why not wait until it is /over/ to make huge animes about it.
