TUMBLR GIF SET VERSION: [link]I absolutely love the Homestuck anime! As in, I love that the fandom freaking created an anime in a matter of days. I think it's really, really cool and shows how creative the fandom is! Plus, I like to sit here and imagine how each episode could be drawn by a different artist, with their own head canons for appearances and such. I think something like that would super-well reflect Homestuck, fandom included!
Anyway, I really wanted to join in and make my own piece of the anime! <3
This took about two days for 50 frames (orz).
I drew it on SAI and then transferred and animated it on Photoshop.
This is my first time doing animation like this!

Well I only drew about four, made minor edits to make about three of each, and then it was a matter of duplicate layers and shifting them to give the idea of movement.
Drawing 50 frames totally would suck!

This looks so cool. I don't even read Homestuck, but when I saw this picture I HAD to comment. That's a lot of frames, but it's totally worth it and looks so amazing, it's like a scene from a movie. (: And this is your FIRST time? WOOOW. You should go into animation or something!

Yeah, I feel the hard work was worth it, too! And I've always been interesting in sequential art--which definitely covers animation, I'd say. I would love to try doing more stuff and see where my limits are.
