Some days ago I was randomly visitting some deviants over here... I found this gorgeous girl ~obscured-stockShe has a very natural beauty and this picture of her is really amazing. [link]
This is the first time I ever do and submit a vector art based on a picture. I learnt a lot doing this and had a lot of fun.
This was doing in Illustrator CS only. I love it!

So much better than having a crowded and complicated piece of work, it makes it very easy to look at and pleasing to the eye, all the same.
How do you go about making a piece of vector art like this, can you do this in Photoshop?

some people does it in Photoshop... I use Illustrator CS, I think is easier

Thank you for that watch! That was my first really vector art based on a picture... I'm not too fast yet but I'm working on a new one... perhaps the next week I'll submit it. I still learning from people like you, you are one of my teachers

wow amigo! de verdad te quedó genial, yo nunca he hecho vectores con fotos pero voy a hacer uno, sé que es más dificil, pero ya no aguanto más, quiero ver si logro captar el realismo de la imagen, eso es muy importante y tu en este trabajo lo has logrado, felicidades!
