Duh Duh Duh Dum! Well I decided to do something other than kaiju, and I must say I think it turned out superbly! I don't care if you like Pokemon or not, these beasties are friggin awesome! They're not only my favorites, but they're also some of the most powerful there is. The one on the top is GIRATINA; the ruler of demensions. The one on the left is DIALGA; ruler of time. Nope. Palkia is 100% ruler of space, after all, he is the spatial pokemon and his signature move is spacial rend. Giratina is most likely is ruler of dimensions.

you know that Giratina is so far not tired in with palkia and Dialga its just fan lore. but maybe with pokemon platinum as giratinas the front well who knows.

What are you talking about? Giratina is clearly the third of Dialga nad palkia. For example: all three have similar facial patterns, all are dragons. and if you have somthing that tells level-up moves of pokemon you'd see that they have nearly identical attacks minus signature attacks i.e. Roar of tim, spacial rend and shadow force among a few others. In fact Giratina's staring role in platinum is only reiforcment for this so-called "Fan lore".

You did not hear what i said. Giratina was not in the myth with Dialga and palkia. Yes Giratina will be in platinum and will most likely become a part of Dialga and palkia but at this part of time and space (no pun intended) Giratina is not mixed with them.

true Giratina was never in the myths with dialga and palkia but nintendo probably didn't want to make giratina's role in the third sinnoh game obvious/ or giratina's role in platinum wasen't planned yet but it probably was.

No one is quite sure. It's said that he's in the dimension parallel to ours; the spirit world. So it could either be dimensions or spirits/death.

nice, just to let you know, Giratina is the master of Dimensions, not death, and he has not much to do with the afterlife other than the fact hes a ghost, but yeh, his power is dimensions, which is why it says he lives in the reverse side of the world

Well it states that he lives in the revers side of ours in the spirit world. Plus it says he appears in an ancient cemetery, so that's why I said he is that of death, but you may be right because he has a form in which he uses to travel through dimensions.... We will truly know when the next movie is released.

Well many people argue over who's better, Palkia or Dialga. Many say that one is better than the other because they think it looks cooler than the other, but you can't go by that.
Stat wise, their base total is the same, but Palkia has better speed whereas Dialga has better HP. If you ask me, Palkia is better because in the Pokemon World, your gonna want to be the one who makes the first move.
True, Dialga's Roar of Time can kill Palkia in one hit, but it has lower accuracy and you have to recharge your next turn.
So the battle would go like this: Palkia strikes first with Spacial Rend and takes more than half of Dialga's HP away. Dialga comes back with Roar of Time and kills Palkia. One on one, Dialga has a slight advantage unless Palkia's Spacial Rend gets a critical hit, which it has a high percentage of, or if Roar of Time misses.
But when playing the game, you won't be doing one on one fights, you'll be doing six against six so Palkia would be the better choice.
They both have very good types, Palkia - Water/Dragon and Dialga - Steel/Dragon. Palkia has only one weakness, Dragon moves, whereas Dialga has two very common weaknesses, Fighting and Ground. But Dialga resists many types of attack compared to Palkia.
So all in all, I'd say Palkia over Dialga, but it all depends on who you like more and who fits your battling style better.

my friends and i were having an arguement (as usual...) when i brought that up- overall, somehow dialga won... i think because i screamed? << XD
isnt there some item, though... that raises base speed? agh whats the name of it... Carbos? couldnt you just get a bunch of those (i know a cheat to duplicate items...) and then use those on dialga until it coulndt go higher/ "wont have any effect"?? just wondering...

True, you can use those stat increasing items, buy your pokemon can only have a few of them before that stat can't be increases with that item. The best way to get your stats higher is to do EV training. That means if you want to really get your Dialga's speed a whole lot higher, then you'll have to make sure it has the right nature, that you give it a power anklet to hold while battling, and continue to fight very low level pokemon that will give you EV's in speed; some suggestions of pokemon that give you EV's for speed are....Crobat, Ambipom, Dugtrio, Fearow, Jumpluff, Pidgeot, Raticate, Yanma. And of course you'll have to battle these pokemon as many times as you can before you level up, which is why you battle them at their lowest level possible.

thanks. Just to let you know, I am basing Zylagon and Cryyogon off of Palkia and Dialga, man what a coincidence that you came up with the same idea that I did. That's why I'm having trouble with Zylagon, it's hard to make a cyborg version of Palkia's head.

Well, I think of it this way, the two kaiju are alien cyborgs, so they don't really have to follow the usual designs of Earth based machines. Hell, look at Gigan (both Showa & Millenium). He looks more organic in the original, but you can still call him a cyborg.
