Went with a pretty big redesign for this guy. For this series, I wanted to make my monsters a little less cartoony and his old design had that sort of look to it, so I made him look like an evil badass mofo! Rancorah had always been a monster empowered from nuclear radiation so I tried giving him more of that atomic kinda look beneath his carapace. Lemme know what ya think.Rancorah (c) Josh White

This new design also helps with his angler fish motif as well, the glowing nuclear bits help him feel more like a deep sea creature and less like a terrestrial monster with an angler fish face

yea once I thought of the new concept for him I realized that the glowing nuclear core would help with the deep sea aspect of him. cool thing to accidentally stumble upon right there lol

Oooo, he looks really cool! He looks like a molten, bipedal, angler fish. I really like the rocky finish!
