I thought this was based on Lilo and Stitch when I first saw it. Alot of the ships in that movie had a similar rounded bubble style.

Rounded organic shaped-vehicles are fun and easy to put together and draw. Inspiration for this was not from Disney, but more from Hayao Miyazaki and Massimiliano Frezzato. If you're not familiar with him, check out Frezzato's work. It's mind-boggling.

That's a whale with wings! Man! I'd be afraid to see that thing fly due to the sheer massive size of that thing in the sky! It looks monstrously huge.
I think you should take a more, Hllicarrier style approach since that thing may need to go half around the world to get off the ground.
The details of the inside are amazing! I love how you make it look so alive in the inside.

Haha for the moment it's just an arapaima, but I think it'll do a whale next. Ooooh you've given me ideas now...
Did you mean 'helicarrier'? I was thinking about that but, hmm right now it's an Avengers thing and I wanna stay away from it =/. But yeah in real life it'd be more practical, I think.
Glad you like the details. I went crazy and spent longer than I'd like on it.

Me too, I'm enjoying it a lot. It's a fun, fast formula for creating art daily and I latched on to it. It's also kind of therapeutic.

Is there a hotel in there? Or does everyone have to sleep in their cars?

You bet it does. For those who're on foot or on bikes and doesn't own a car (like me), sleeping and living facilities are a must, though a bit tight. It also has cantinas, public lounges, rec areas, even shops. Oh, and also workshops and motor pools for military vehicles.
