Sivir!!!!!!!
Sivir was my original favorite champion that I wasn't good with for a long time so none of my friends wanted me to play her. When the metagame shifted and suddenly she was the top tier I started playing her again and (after a dozen or so games of feeling her out and getting better about placement and engagements) I wrecked with her. I could spell shield anything, take a carry down to 1/2hp with a single boomerang, and destroy the entire enemy team.
We're falling behind? Don't sweat it, wait till the 50 minute mark for me to farm up everything and I would single-handedly supercarry the team to victory.
Then Riot went and nerfed her boomerange into the /ground/. I was so sad. I continued trying to play her even after the nerf, but it was obvious that her dominance was just gone.
Saaaaad.
She's still my favorite champion and I owe her a lot for teaching me how to rise from a noob to an intermediate player.
