Here is my first drawing of Ryuuzaki (Rex Raptor in the English version). This came out better than I expected, although I did slack off quite a bit. I procrastinated for two days before coloring it, and got lazy near the end (mainly on his jacket).My mom liked it well enough though, and I am half afraid she will hang it in her room. 0.o She scares me sometimes. I have caught her more than once staring at my Yu Yu Hakusho Wall Scroll...appearantly, she thinks Kurama is hot.

Speaking of Yu Yu Hakusho, Rex looks a bit similar to Hiei, in terms of the face.

O love this guy! I never understood WHY Joey and the others (Yugi not so much) had it in for this guy. Mai was the one who made up that whole duel thing with him and Joey, so it never made sense to me. He's really a good duelist , ppl just cheat to beat him. Weevil (Maybe), Mai, Espa Roba, they all cheated to beat him. Sorry, my fandom got the better of me. *looks sheepish*

Wow. You definitely got his hair and shape of his eyes down better than I did! The coloring is great too. 
It's funny that your mom likes your art so much as to hang it up! I'm kind of embarrassed to show my parents my cartoony drawings.

It is creepy though to talk to my mom sometimes about anime characters....first she asks if (it) is a guy or girl. then if I say it is a guy, she stares at it for a few minutes, then says. Wow he's hot!
Keep up the good work! If you find yourself frustrated with a drawing, try to find inspiration elsewhere. I gained the ability to draw folds in clothing after reading hate mail and listening to WAY too much Depeche Mode...I would not suggest this though, as such methods can also be quite stressfull.

Well, I do try my best and try to gain inspiration from many things I like. At least I can see improvements in what I do now from my earlier art.

lol ...my mom bought me a tape recorder today. ^^ I am going to use it when my Geometry teacher is talking (mostly because he talks WAY to fast and I need to replay the info, and partially to show my mom how cruel he is to the students).
You should hear about my dad...he is obsessed with anime now, thanks to me. @.@ he watches more anime than I do!!
^^ I love your signature and icon! There are too few people who remember Invader Zim. I am working on an anime-style Invader Zim Picture right now...

That tape recorder thing might not be a bad idea. 
Sometimes I will come downstairs and my parents will be watching cartoons, on Saturdays, usually. I don't mind as long as they're not the really stupid/babyish ones.

It will take a while to work on my pic since I have so much homework now a days. -_-' (sweat drop) but I will try to finish it over the weekend if I don't have plans! *is excited* It is my first/only Invader Zim pic, unless you count my clayboard sketch of the same pic, and I am coloring it completely on Photoshop CS.
Yes, the tape recorder helped. I now know what I am doing...but I barely just got finished with my homework 'cause I had to keep replaying the tape. I *should* have finished quite a while ago...
I love Invader Zim! there are only like 4 episodes I have not seen.

Oh, wow. That's really good, actually. I've attempted to draw him before, but he never came out right. I've always had difficulty drawing characters from Yu-Gi-Oh - takes me for-freaking-ever to draw anybody but Kaiba - but this is nice. You did an especially nice job coloring him. Usually my pictures look nice...until I color them. But I like this. ^^ I like this a lot.
