Shooting Star: Xander, you in here?!

Xander:*peaks out from behind a shelf, holding a book with his magic*Of course, I am, Shooting. Where else would I be?

Shooting Star:*jumps slightly and looks at Xander*Sweet Celestia, Xander. Don't scare me like that.

Xander: Sorry. Forgot that you get scared easily. What can I do for you, Shooting?*walks out from behind the shelf, still holding the book*

Shooting Star: I need you help with something.

Xander:*cocks his eyebrow and smirks, putting the book down on a table*Oh? You need my help? This sounds interesting.

Shooting Star: I will walk out of here and go get somepony else's help if you intend to tease me about asking for your help.

Xander:*laughs slightly*Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore. What do you need my help with?

Shooting Star: I want to find a way to stop the former king and his new power before it's too late. As you know, Mistic Gem has been requested by Auntie Celestia to accompany Captain Flash Sentry to the Crystal Empire and I worry for her safety as any big brother would do.

Xander: I know about Mistic's trip and as much as I hate that she's going, it's her job. As for finding a way to stop the former king, there might be a way but...*trails off a bit*

Shooting Star: But what, Xander?

Xander:*sighs quietly*But it's an old practice, one that hasn't been used in a long time. Though, it has been mentioned multiple times in various books in the library.

Shooting Star: Then what are we waiting for? Lets get looking!*runs off deeper into the library*

Xander:*looks at the book on the table and mumbles under his breath*Looks like Daring Do is gonna have to wait.*walks in the same direction that Shooting Star ran in*

Funfact 2: Shooting Star isn't fond of the idea of asking for help from others, especially from his parents and sibilings. Xander knows this and does tease Shooting about it every so often, just like any older sibling would do to their younger sibling. Shooting does hate it when Xander teases him about this but there's days where they'll both get a kick out of it.
Funfact 3: I don't know if I mentioned this in Xander's ref but Xander is in the Cantorlot castle library a lot of the time, reading either fiction or non-fiction, it all depends on Xander's mood on that day.
