Description
This is actually part of a larger work in progress. The cat is inspired by a really wacko siamese/manx mix named Whitman, who was the bane of my beach vacation this year (I'll cut him a LITTLE slack because he was not even a year old, and technically still a kitten). Anywho, he was pretty cute. Whitman doesn't have a tail, but this one looked funny without one, so it magically grew one. Drawn in Illustrator.Related content

Thanx! ^_^ He was modeled after a very cheeky little siamese-type cat of recent acquaintance. He was actually supposed to be the first installment of a bigger picture, but my ADD brain moved on to other conquests, and I forgot about it until now... Oh, look! A puppy!...

Would be cool to see further instalments involving this little cutie... I often start a project only to forget about it and complete it two years later! I have this sculpture of a firefly with wings that look like human faces that I started about three years ago that I still haven't finished

Whitman (the cat who modeled for this picture) is crazy enough to inspire an entire comic strip. I just may have to do more...

Aw I like the little curly part in it's ears. And the color you chose for the shadow is great; glad it's not the typical black.

Thanks! I'm trying to develop the little curls in the ears and other places in my cartoons as a sort of signature/style. I've used the little curls in the ears of my bears, too. And black shadows are just too boring.
