"Transformers Roll In A Request II"
The young Autobot jets called the "Aerialbots!".

I've always wanted to draw the Aerialbots and now that I have I'm very happy how they turned out.
It was hard work drawing them all together but it was good experience and enjoyable.
This was a special picture as it is the 100th drawing of mine.
This picture was requested by which is a birthday gift to give to and I myself dedicate this picture to ToaVeka as she loves the Aerialbots. ^^

Ironically enough, both the aerialbots and stunticons became loose cannons to their respective side, but in a opposite way. The aerialbots were loose cannons from the start, not caring much of the Autobot cause until they saw the damage that the Decepticons caused. The Stunticons were loyal from the start, but they start to become loose cannons when they started to prefer to live up to their name, such as having a demolition derby instead of helping Megatron right Starscream.

Nice pic here. Looks like Silverbolt conquered his fear of heights in this picture. Like the Stunticons being my favorite Decepticon gestalt group, the Aerialbots are my favoite Autobot gestalt team.

Thank you very much for the kind comment. Yes in this setting of the scene Silverbot has as you say conquered his true fear and can fly freely with his fellow Aerialbot comrades! It's also nice to know your favourite gestalt teams and they are certainly the one's I both like since I'm mainly a combiners/gestalt fan in general so I was happy to do and share this with fans like you!

No prob. The reason I love the Aerialbots is because back in G1, there weren't too many Autobots, except for Jetfire and Powerglide, that didn't turn into jets, and I'm glad Optimus Prime thought of the idea of combating with airplanes against Megatron with his Stunticon cars. Same reason why I love the Stunticons, because around the time, there weren't ANY Decepticon that could turn into cars before Megatron created the Stunticons. Overall, a great rivalry between the Aerialbots and the Stunticons.

I understand and agree with you. I remember always borrowing G1 on VHS just to watch "The Key To Victor Sigma - Part I & II" to see them and never get tired of it! They both rock!

Silverbolt is THE BEST Aerialbot EVER!!! ^^ Wonderful artwork! I could never fit so many bots in one page! Did you do a pencilled sket first before scanning it or did you do this straight on the tablet?

He is definitely a spotlighted Aerialbot compared to the others which is why Optimus Prime chose him to be the commander of them.
I drew them all individually on paper then scanned them and coloured them on photoshop then finally positioned them where I wanted them to be.
I don't use a tablet I draw all my pictures on paper with pencil.

The Aerialbots - certainly what the Autobots needed in order to bolster their air force, since the Decepticons are mostly fliers (Swoop, Skyfire, Cosmos, and Powerglide were the only other Autobot fliers at that point)!
And yes, they're also the first ever Autobots who combine into a bigger robot as well (yay for Superion!).

Good job on telling who were the flying Autobots, the Autobots did have a few air support Transformers but it couldn't match against all of the Decepticons who already have the ability to fly.
The Aerialbots were truely a blessing to the Autobots, it was a crucial time for them to arise to aid the Autobots, and the Aerialbots do play the biggest role of all time in "War Dawn".
Yep classic Superion the first Autobot combiner to bring hope for the Autobot cause. ^^

Ah yes, there's also the Lamborghini brothers - they have jet packs, though they can only fly for a limited time (remember that "jet judo" thing?).

Yes drawing each Aerialbot I needed some good references especially for Silverbot! he was like the most challenging and favourite to draw ^_^V
