The first gestalt generation!
These are the "Constructicons" from the Decepticon side.
Scrapper [Leader - middle]
Hook [top left]
Scavenger [bottom left]
Mixmaster [top middle]
Long Haul [top right]
Bonecrusher [bottom right]

I drew these cons relaxing in a construction site.
My first time drawing all the Constructicons together!

And the combiner team that started a whole trend of combiners. Yet oddly enough, they used six instead of the more commonly used 5 later on down the road. Gotta love the Constructicons though. Gotta respect the originals.

That's absolutely right and yes we have to respect them for being the only combiner to appear in all 4 seasons.
Yes which wasn't your common other combiners which made them very unique and charismatic from the beginning.

I love how Mixmaster is sitting a little aways from his brethren with a crazy grin on his face. It really captures the essence of his madness.

Really? I thought most of the G1 Constructicons were all pretty accurate coming from the toy to the cartoon. There were a lot of other characters that were completely changed in design wise, take Ironhide and Ratchet for example, could you imagine them being designed from the toy into the cartoon? Haha it would looked very odd having a sticker as a face!

The Constructicons own every other G1 gestalt team because they're six robots.

They transform into construction vehicles, so it is approproate. I did some sketches of Mixmaster and Hook.

Awesome work as normal. I love that Hook seems anxious to work again, totally in character for his perfectionist personality. Bonecrusher looks well relaxed. I love the shadows and the feeling of hot sun.
