Description On my last trip to Beijing in March 2017, I didn't miss to revisit locomotive square, which is one of the key spots in 751D-Park. The photo shows the same location as in this picture from July 2016:

In the background, there are now some contruction works going on to renew the old trackage. Looking forward to my next visit to see the results. Maybe, the exhibition of railway equipment is going to be extended.

Yes, it is. However, the number is faked. The real number of that engine is SY 0309.

It is the real 0309. It just got the fake number 0751 as an advertising for 751 D Park.

The SY was the last steam engine class built in China.

China was the last country that built mainline steam engine. The SY class was made until 1999. Today, the SY's disappeared completely from mainline service. However, some are still in use on industrial railways, in particular in steel mills and mining operations.
