Description
Fallen AngelCrawling in my forlorn appearance
I hide my soul behind these tattered wings
Tattered and broken as they are
Plucked of light, stained in tears and blood.
In quiet despair upon the cold earth
Smeared in dirt I crouch upon my weary knees
And clutched timidly between my fingers
Rests one last jewel of Hope.
A single unblemished plume plucked
From the silver light of dawn
A feathered ray of light from beyond
To illuminate the void that has me bound.
This precious barb of silk
Once lost as I was and forgotten
Blazes now to immerse me in radiant bliss
To wash away the pain, draw me from the abyss.
So now I fade awayβ¦
My tender flesh removed
My shattered wings released
My inner light unsheathed⦠escapes.

Wow, youwrite beautifully. Every tanzais just captvating and you portray the real pain and hurt the angel is feeling. I love it and it is truly amazing. This is the best thing I have read in my life.

I'm sorry, but this poem is just so utterly bad. I know I sound rude. I've wanted to comment for a long time, but I figured people would hate me. But in the end, I feel a certain responsibility for other writers, and this really gives poetry a bad name. And now I can't get Bon Jovi out of my head, thank you very much.

This was really amazing to read. Because I think that it doesn't only apply to your fallen angle, but it can also apply to a person as well. Someone who has " fallen", and managed to cling on to a tiny shred of hope. Death is usually view as something bad, but in your poem, it is like death is a comfort , a friend, a second chance. This really is beautiful.
