i think you misunderstand.. the word "Mech" that i stated here is not for describing the type of this mechanical being.. it is actually refer to gender.. in Transformers fandom, the work Mech is used to describe Male transformers, and Femme for the Female Transformers...
and to be honest, Transformers is not robot.. a lot of people including me think that they are robot programmed by computer.. Transformers is actually a living being.. they have mind, heart, soul and spirit just like human.. they just happen to have mechanical body that's all...
