this is amazing the only thing i can say negatively about this is that Luna's face looks a bit weird, i think it is the camera angleΒ

Very pretty. Nice job. They almost look a bit sinister in a way.

Sooo, once your done with Moonrise, do you think we could have them to animate?
It would be a shame to let all that work go to waste!!!
very cool looking btw

thank you.. but im not sure if im going to distribute it though, because, firstly, its not SFM software, and im actually intend to keep this as a personal project and portfolio.. >.<

Aww.. that's to bad.
I animate with Maya, 3DS Max, and Blender and I was hoping to do some awesome animations with these and obviously give you fully credits for your work.
But the choice is obviously yours to make. Wishing you all the best!

The look is very interesting here, a great style! Reminds be of something from Tim Burton... Something a little Nightmare-before-Christmas-ish.
Not a fan of Celestia's hair though... Perhaps if there was some good glowing effect to it?

JPL-Animation In reply to xonxt [2015-01-23 19:28:54 +0000 UTC]
no, there's no glowing on her hair.. is it too desaturated ?
π: 0 β©: 1
xonxt In reply to JPL-Animation [2015-01-23 19:57:59 +0000 UTC]
Well it's not about being desaturated... It's just we're all more used to never seeing individual hairs of Celestia's mane, and instead seeing it look like some kind of ethereal magical something, billowing in an invisible breeze.

JPL-Animation In reply to xonxt [2015-01-23 20:05:43 +0000 UTC]
ah i see... well, that's interesting.. i never look at it like that.. i thought her mane is just, well, a mane... >.<

Lordoffantasy In reply to JPL-Animation [2015-01-25 09:21:00 +0000 UTC]
it is animated, apparently from outflowing energy or something.

xonxt In reply to JPL-Animation [2015-01-23 20:34:00 +0000 UTC]
Well we don't know what her mane is made of. I'm just assuming, that is Luna has a starry-field mane, with transparency effect on the edges, and as the Nightmare Moon she even had a fully-ethereal mane...
Still the models look great. Very stylish.Β
