Description
i re-texture my robot , since the old one is too much "Tron"to be honest , this is what my robot suppose to look like at the end of the assignment.. but since i dont have time for detailing the texture , i choose Tron theme.. T_T

actually its Versatile Acrobatic Learner and Instructor Automata.. basically she's kind a bot you would use to demonstrate acrobatic movement, so the real people could learn from it XD XD

When I see this I don't think 'Tron'. First thought I had was, she's just missing the Aperture Science Logo (from Portal and Portal 2).

LOVE the details on her...the Black & white contrast is Great!
I understand the 'TRON- Lookalike' fear...I'm working on Gynoids with glowie colors and was worried about the same thing.
It's very subtle now, and works well.

Sadly, a lot of work like this is going to be labelled as "too much 'Tron'" when you have characters with neon-ish lighting on their costumes or armor.
I mean, before Tron Legacy came out, this kind of work was still around...but now that there's a Hollywood medium that pushes that kind of look and has burned its presence and influence into movie watchers around the world, that look is now considered "Tron"-ish.
Kind of like the last decade when Harry Potter was big and a lot of magic/fantasy related pics were considered "Rowling-esque".
Although, from looking at this pic, I'm thinking more of the pilot suits from the upcoming "Pacific Rim" film (which has me worried because most giant robot movies that come out in theaters aren't all that great).
