I used to use different galleries for my artwork (JPR04), and coloring (JPRcolor). Β But, I combined everything under the JPRart account back in 2007. Β

I think what I love most about this is that Clark looks like a farm boy. Because he is one (not as much as the pre-N52 Superman for me). He actually looks like one, and the frown doesn't suit him at all it's almost too adorable. Β Great art, mister! This is the Justice League I grew up with and they will forever be close to my heart.

Hi Jeremy I love your work. I was wondering if you'd be so kind to modify this same creation of yours only Superman's outfit with MOS costume?
I'd love to see that. And also if you put some straps or shoulders that hold up WW costume? Please? would be great
Thank you for your time.

I can post more links actually related to the show--which still airs every Saturday morning around the country and has for nearly a decade. Β The audience for TV is much bigger than the readership of the highest selling comic book on its best day.

But that doesn't make it the "real" Justice League.
But how many of today's kids know that show? The audience of that show is now 18-21, which makes sense as young adults use the internet the most, so those polls are a reflection of that audience.
That saying, those people won't be seeing that roster ever again. DC is trying to push Hal in other forms of media due to his major popularity in the comics because of the push he's gotten from Geoff Johns. Barry is also being pushed because DC is just another IP farm for WB and legacy characters would be confusing for a general audience. Cyborg has taken John Stewart's place as racial diversity guy. Hawkgirl has gone back to what she was before the JL show, insignificant to the DC Universe. Only Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will remain the same. DC is shafting Martian Manhunter in favor of Cyborg, but even he's gaining a vocal fanbase on the Internet.

1) The Bruce Timm still airs every Saturday morning for kids and adults to watch. The Hal Jordan cartoon was cancelled before it hit episode 20. His movie failed. None of his merchandise sells.
2) After the John Stewart debacle, DC has been pushing that character as well. He's even getting his own stand alone graphic novel by Simone and Schiver. And he's just as likely to show up on film as anyone else since he's so associated with the team, and the Hal Jordan push--as evidenced by lack of success in TV and Film--was a failure.

I have to help you out here. You are fighting an opinion (or preference) with facts unrelated to the opinion against someone showing you facts to support said opinion. Your argument is that because they're going away from that lineup -- the lineup that put Justice League on the map with this generation (not 18-21) and is still airing for OVER a decadeΒ (the show started when I was in high school; I have 3 kids now -all which know the show- and I still enjoy catching it from time to time)--Β it can't be the real Justice League, I repeat, simply because they're going away from it? As you said John was replace by Cyborg who was a... a Teen Titan? And your point about Hawkgirl is the point. No one knew or cared about her before the show, and the same goes for Martian Manhunter. Heck, the same would basically go for John Stewart too. Yeah, I would say the quintessential Justice League of our time would make it the real Justice League.

I was never using the fact that they are trying to go away from that line-up as an argument. I was just stating that people will never see that roster together in any media ever again.

But realistically speaking, do you actually think Hawkgirl will ever be featured as a founding member ever again? She was a g-lister before the show and even after the show boosted awareness of her she still has ZERO significance in the DCU. Wally and John are the only replacements I can see ever returning, but even then its unlikely as DC seems dead set on getting into people's heads that Barry and Hal were founders. Its not saying that they won't ever be in a JL team together again, its that they will never be the founding members of a JL team together in any media.

It could happen if the director of Justice League prefers John/Wally or whomever. WB makes films. DCE does what they are told by corporate. They are not the same though. So, yes, it could happen--especially since Cyborg on the Justice League is BS and an all white league is never going to happen after the Green Lantern reaction and since Marvel has black heroes in all their films. That is not even taking into account how much retailers like Wal-Mart or whoever sells toys dislike the Hal Jordan character.

See I'm just a comic book purist. I love the original JL lineup. I hate when people say Aquaman sucks or Barry is boring, etc. John I'm okay with because I'm not the biggest Hal fan. However Wally on the JLU show is pretty much an amalgamation Flash who was Barry Allen, but with Wally's name and face and Bart's personality. So I just get irritated whenever people use JLU to justify why Wally is better than Barry.
And Aquaman and Martian Manhunter are way better than Cyborg and Hawkgirl, so yeah. My opinions on that. I wouldn't mind the original JL line-up with John replacing Hal.
