new school year, new noodles A4. this one took me ages, I think it's my best design till now, but ofcourse, you decide. Please comment, I'm always in for some critique.thx a lot and everyone else for giving critique on all my tests, it was very usefull! (Couldn't have done it without you, etc.)

I really like this one a lot. The design is strong and I love way it looks so retro, bu tit has this modern sensibility about it. I do agree with ~rejlan in that I think a bit more context would really take this over the top. I know this was something you kind-of just came up with on the fly, right? What would rock is if you could take the idea behind this or even the technical skill that you show here, cause it's really very good, and apply it to some pieces that say something... maybe about you or something else or someone else, you know? Well either way, great design!

I made this design a year ago, now I really work more via relating etc. but I haven't really found the time too to much. the next months however are holidays for highschool students, so I might design something... anywayz, doesn't matter, but I'll keep you posted

Interessting combination of oldfassion and modern art. Great colour combination. Though I don't get what? who? how? where?

actually it all started with a picture I found on wikipedia of this guy, in his 1901 morning dress.
I really liked the picture, so I started messing around with it. It didn't seem to work out so I dropped it, but a few weeks later I tried it again and this time it wasn't that bad at all!!
so I continued working on it, for a very long time, and after a while this is what came out!
I don't think there's a great meaning behind it, just me liking these old stocks. But if you have found a meaning, be sure to tell me

This is cool...I like the old-timeyness of it. The drawing looks like something I might see in a "Married to the Sea" comic. (if you're not familiar it's [link] - they have a bunch of old timey drawings like that and they write their own captions)
